Registration for the 2010 Intramural Program is officially closed!
If you have pre-registered on www.eayso.org but did not download the registration form and submit payment then your player is NOT registered and will not be placed on a team. The only confirmation of registration is your canceled check. You must complete the process to play!
Coaches will begin to call players the week of August 30 but may not be able to do so until after Labor Day. New playing schedules for many teams are now posted on the website. (Click on the Schedule link on the left side of the web page.) It is the responsibility of all player families to make sure they have the name and contact number of their coach. Once teams are final, team rosters will be posted on the website (click on the Team link on the left side of the web page) and the coach’s name and email address will also be listed.
Uniforms (shirt, shorts and socks) will be distributed on the first game day. ALL players must wear shin guards and cleats. Shin guards will be sold for $10 pair on the first game day. Only U5 and U6 players do not have to wear cleats.
A “cleat exchange” will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 4:00 pm at the Consolidated Edison Field. You may drop off and/or pick up gently used cleats free of charge. Cleats can only be picked up if others drop them off.
Division Assignments
Birth year determines division assignments and the day games are played. Division assignments are automatically assigned when you complete the pre-registration form. The effective date of age determination shall be the player’s age as of July 31 immediately prior to the start date of the season.
Players who have reached the age of four years as of this date are eligible to participate in the program. Players who are nineteen years of age or older as of this date are not eligible to participate.

General Registration Information
Before you to register, please read the MKSC Code of Conduct. It is understood that upon registration, you have accepted this Code of Conduct..
Code of Conduct
- I will support the league in its efforts to provide a safe, fair, fun environment in which to play soccer.
- I will support the league's five guiding principles of Open Registration, Balanced Teams, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Everyone Plays.
- I will make a point of supporting and complimenting the officials for their efforts. I recognize that they are all volunteers doing the best they can to ensure that the game is played fairly and safely, and that the children are having a good time.
- I will not use profanity at any time. I will compliment the children, refs, and coaches on their efforts.
Registration Fee:
$150 for the first player and $120 for each additional family member. All checks should be payable to: Manhattan Kickers Soccer Club (Credit cards are not accepted)
Late fees: Add $20 to each rate above.
Mail to: MKSC, Peter Stuyvesant Station, PO Box 1284, NY, NY10009.
Game Locations:
All practices and games for MKSC take place at the Con Edison Fields (16th Street and Avenue C) and Murphy’s Brother’s Playground (17th Street and Avenue C) in Manhattan.
Late Player Registration and Wait List Policy:
Late player registrations will be accepted. If space is available, players who register late will be assigned to a team in order in which fully completed applications, forms and proper payment are received. Late registration adds $20 per player onto the fees regular of $150 and $120.
If no space is available, or when teams have been filled, late registrations will be placed on a wait list.
If an opening develops in a division, the first player on the wait list with a similar skill rating will be placed on the team. This player might NOT be the absolute first player on the list. This procedure is used to maintain team balance.
All players who are not assigned to a team will be notified by September 15 and given a full refund.
Special requests for team assignments will not be granted. The U8 Division is an exception to this policy. All requests for the U8 Division must accompany a pre-registration form on a separate sheet of paper, post-it or email to be considered.
